collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
LabSync is a professional platform for dental labs, doctors, and dental teams. By using LabSync,
you agree to the practices described below.
LabSync is a dental laboratory management platform enabling seamless workflows between
dental labs, doctors, lab administrators, and team members. The app manages order creation,
workflow stages, team assignments, real-time chat, and lab operations.
The platform is operated by Rascoda. We handle your personal data
responsibly and transparently in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
We collect only the minimum information required to provide our services.
Account & Identity
- Full name (first and last name)
- Email address used for login and communication
- Phone number (optional, provided by you)
- Password — stored as a secure hash; never plain text
- User role: Doctor, Lab Admin, Team Member, or Super Admin
Professional & Lab Data
- Dental lab name, details, and association
- Dental order records including stage, status, and tooth data
- Team membership and stage assignments
Usage & Communication
- Chat messages exchanged within the platform
- In-app notifications and read/unread status
- Order discussion messages and activity logs
- Login timestamps and session activity
Device & Technical
- Authentication tokens stored securely on-device via encrypted storage
- App usage logs for error detection and performance

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, health records, or biometric data. The app does not access your camera, microphone, or file system beyond what you explicitly initiate.

Creating, tracking, and managing dental orders through workflow stages (validation → design → milling → finishing → shipping → completed).
Team Collaboration
Assigning team members to workflow stages and tracking progress across the lab.

Enabling instant messaging between doctors, lab staff, and administrators.

Delivering in-app alerts for order updates, assignments, and new messages.
Profile Management
Allowing you to view and update your name, phone number, and password.

On-device encryption: Tokens and credentials are stored using Expo SecureStore, which leverages the device's native Keychain (iOS) or Keystore (Android) — encrypted at rest.

Encrypted transmission: All data between the app and our servers travels over HTTPS / TLS encrypted connections.

Token-based access: Short-lived JWT access tokens and refresh tokens control session access and are invalidated on logout.

Password hashing: Passwords are never stored in plain text — only as irreversible cryptographic hashes.

Server-side protections: Our servers implement access controls, monitoring, and industry-standard security practices.

While we implement strong security measures, no system is entirely immune. We recommend using a strong, unique password and logging out on shared devices.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is shared only in these limited scenarios:

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide
our services. Upon account deletion we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a
reasonable period, except where retention is required by applicable law.
Chat messages and order records may be retained for operational and audit purposes as
determined by the lab or organization that manages your account within the platform.

LabSync is a professional platform intended solely for dental industry professionals aged
18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).
If you believe a minor has provided personal information through our app, please contact us
immediately at privacy@rascoda.com and we will promptly remove it.
The app may open an external web dashboard or link to third-party services. Once you leave
the LabSync app environment, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to
review the privacy policies of any external services you access.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or
legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date
and, where appropriate, notified via in-app alerts.
Continued use of LabSync after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
